नवी दिल्ली : सिनेमा जगातील सर्वात मोठा पुरस्कार ऑस्कर २०२४ (Oscar 2024) साठी नामांकन यादी जाहीर झाली आहे. या यादीत एकाही भारतीय चित्रपटाला स्थान देण्यात आलेले नाही. मात्र भारतातील एका छोट्या गावाच्या कथेवर आधारित माहितीपट नामांकनात स्थान मिळवण्यात यशस्वी ठरला आहे. भारतात बनवलेल्या 'टू किल अ टायगर' या माहितीपटाला ऑस्करसाठी नामांकन मिळाले आहे.
ऑस्करने मंगळवारी संध्याकाळी नामांकनांची संपूर्ण यादी जाहीर केली. यंदा या नामांकन यादीत 'ओपेनहायमर', 'बार्बी' आणि 'पुअर थिंग्ज'चा दबदबा दिसून येत आहे. यंदा १० मार्च रोजी संध्याकाळी ७ वाजता (भारतात सोमवारी सकाळी ५.३० वाजता) ऑस्कर पुरस्कारांचे आयोजन केले जाणार आहे.
पहिला ऑस्कर पुरस्कार 16 मे 1929 मध्ये आयोजित करण्यात आला होता. ऑस्कर पुरस्कार हे अमेरिकास्थित एॅकेडमी ऑफ मोशन पिक्चर ऑर्ट्स अॅण्ड सायंन्सेस (AMPAS) द्वारा दिले जातात. ऑस्कर ट्रॉफीला मीडिया जगतात 'गोल्डन लेडी' म्हणून ओळखले जाते. विशेष म्हणजे या ट्रॉफीशिवाय ऑस्कर विजेत्यांना कोणतीही रोख रक्कम दिली जात नाही.
